El mes pasado, nuestros compañeros Clara Muñoz Pou, Product Manager Separación & Water Management, y José Carradinha, Prescriptor, realizaron diferentes sesiones de formación en la sede de ACO en Maia y en Caparica (Portugal).
Con el objetivo de estrechar lazos con las ingenierías que ya trabajan con ACO, estas formaciones giraron en torno a la promoción de los Sistemas de Drenaje Urbano Sostenible (#SUDS) y de las soluciones de bombeo.
Para ello, se hizo hincapié en diferentes áreas de negocio, como los separadores de hidrocarburos e hidrodinámicos, los tanques de tormenta, la reutilización del agua y los pozos de bombeo. Además, se realizó una visita al showroom de Maia, lo que permitió a las ingenierías conocer al detalle nuestras soluciones, así como también se expusieron diferentes casos de aplicación, que sirvieron para intercambiar puntos de vista, opiniones y experiencias.

No mês passado, os nossos colegas Clara Muñoz Pou, Product Manager Separação & Water Management, e José Carradinha, Prescritor, realizaram diferentes acções de formação nas sedes da ACO na Maia e Caparica (Portugal).
Com o objetivo de estreitar laços com as empresas de engenharia que já trabalham com a ACO, estas acções de formação centraram-se na promoção de Sistemas de Drenagem Urbana Sustentável (#SUDS) e soluções de bombagem.
Para o efeito, foi dada ênfase a diferentes áreas de negócio, como separadores de hidrocarbonetos e hidrodinâmicos, tanques pluviais, reutilização de águas e estações de bombagem. Para além disso, foi feita uma visita ao showroom da Maia, que permitiu às empresas de engenharia conhecer em pormenor as nossas soluções, bem como diferentes casos de aplicação, que serviram para trocar pontos de vista, opiniões e experiências.

We're thrilled to sponsor Adam Richey (Production Operative, ACO), this Sunday, as he takes on an incredible challenge: cycling 100 miles in a single day!
Supporting ‘Cyclists Fighting Cancer,’ an organisation focused on supporting children diagnosed with cancer, the funds raised from Adam's fundraiser will be used to provide new bikes and specialist support treatment, helping to enhance their physical fitness and overall well-being.
Adam's fundraising efforts have been phenomenal, raising £816 and surpassing his initial target. We’re thrilled to contribute an additional £750, matching the value of his previous (now broken) goal.
We are all wishing Adam the best of luck, and we will catch up with him next week to find out how the challenge went.

4 wichtige Spielregeln für Ihre Versickerungsplanung:
Seit 2007 ist der Gewässerschutz in den deutschen und europäischen Normen und Gesetzen verankert.
Wenn Sie also Ihre Versickerung planen, sind diese 4 gesetzlichen Regelungen die Leitplanken für die Umsetzung:
1️⃣ Die EU-Wasserrahmenrichtlinie von 2007
Sie sorgt vor allem dafür, dass die Schadstoffeinträge in alle europäischen Gewässer reduziert und deren Struktur maßgeblich verbessert wird.
2️⃣ Das Deutsche Wasserhaushaltsgesetz
Es zielt in erster Linie darauf ab, das Wasser als lebensnotwendige Ressource zu bewahren – zum Beispiel durch den Schutz vor Verunreinigungen und den Erhalt der Qualität.
3️⃣ Die DWA-A 138
Sie regelt hauptsächlich, unter welchen Richtlinien Sie das Regenwasser ins Grundwasser einbringen dürfen.
4️⃣ Das Merkblatt DWA-M 153
Es zurrt die Vorbehandlung des Regenwassers für Ihre Versickerungsanlage fest.

Cycling offers tremendous economic and well-being advantages in urban areas, but we understand that it also presents design challenges to ensure the safety of both cyclists and pedestrians. That's why, in creating the ACO KerbDrain CycleKerb, both drainage and safety have been at the heart of our design process.
For instance, the 60mm upstand of the Kerb is designed to align with research commissioned by The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, providing important assistance in distinguishing between pedestrian areas and cycle lanes for the visually impaired.
