When you need to solve a surface #drainage problem, it’s time to call in ACO.
At the iconic Clifton Hill tourist area in Niagara, engineers were having difficulty finding a drainage system that could intercept heavy rain fall due to the steep incline.
This led to hazardous conditions for both pedestrians and motorists alike, and to solve the problem, ACO’s FG200 fibreglass #trench drain system was installed.
With its large hydraulic capacity, long run capabilities and ADA compliant ductile iron grates, tourists were able cross the trench drain safely, while the Load Class E rating provided the strong grates needed to withstand vehicular traffic.

🌍 ACO StormBrixx makes its debut in the Middle East – Successful first installation in Bahrain
Our international team, led by Application Engineer Gunnar Olesen, successfully installed the first ACO StormBrixx HD900 infiltration tank in Riffa, Bahrain. The two-layer system, measuring 3 m x 3.6 m, was efficiently assembled, and the local team received comprehensive training. We were particularly pleased with the positive feedback:

A visit to the Ministry of Works – Bahrain provided an opportunity to discuss future projects and showcase our expertise in stormwater management.

Na objektu je bila izvedena celovita prenova obrabljenega industrijskega tlaka, hkrati pa pa je bil posodobljen 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐳𝐚 𝐨𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐞 – iz starega točkovnega sistema v modernejši linijski sistem.
V betonski podlagi so bili izrezani in izkopani kanali prave širine in globine. Nato so bili izdelani temelji iz posebne epoksi malte, vanje so bile vgrajene kanalete, ki so povezane z iztoki za odvod vode.
Spoji med kanaletami so bili skrbno zatesnjeni, nato pa zaliti s tekočo epoksi maso, ki prenese raztezanje in obremenitve. Večje poškodbe tal so bile popravljene s hitro sušečo cementno maso. Na koncu je bila celotna površina zbrušena in zaščitena z obstojnim epoksi premazom.
