A wonderful story from across the pond within the USA, where a wildlife habitat grant was awarded to install ACO’S Climate Tunnels. The tunnels will be used at the Presque Isle Park in Marquette, protecting the Blue Spotted Salamander as they migrate over the spring seasons.
The story really helps to highlight the broad spectrum of wildlife creatures that the Climate Tunnel can protect as they travel across points of traffic.

LED lights reduce energy consumption by approx. 60-80% compared to other light sources, such as neon tubes or similar ones.
The lights are designed for a pig housing environment - transformers and LEDs are “molded” together, thus making the setup incredibly durable.
Due to its unique construction, the lamps can tolerate moisture, dust and ammonia. Besides, it is a modular Plug’n'Play system solution, where you can easily mount luminaires, incl. cables.

During yesterday's photoshoot for our new catalog, we made 152 photos (plus minus 50), fueled our focus with at least 15 cups of coffee (who's counting after the 12th?) and unwrapped 25 chocolates (a gross underestimate, we admit). 😀

The new State of the Nation infrastructure report gives stark warning that the UK is not on target to achieving the 2030 Agenda. Released by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), SuDS is highlighted as a way we can better manage surface rainfall and contribute to meeting vital environmental targets.
Within the report, Marieke Nieuwaal from Mott MacDonald states “There is a need for engineering to solve infrastructure challenges, but we should really flip things around and start with solving issues from the perspective of nature, and think about a hybrid approach, before we look at whether only [traditional] engineering is needed”.
ACO is dedicated to continuing to offer and develop new solutions that can work with and support nature-based solutions.
