La semana pasada realizamos un encuentro en nuestra sede de Maçanet de la Selva (Girona) con los estudiantes del máster en Ciència i Tecnologia dels Recursos Hídrics de la Universitat de Girona con la “Sostenibilidad hídrica: retos y soluciones para la reutilización del agua” como eje principal de la jornada.
Carme Santasmasas, responsable de I+D+I de ACO, ha sido la encargada de poner en contexto todas las normativas actuales, mostrando de qué manera ACO REMOSA contribuye a cuidar el agua a través de sus múltiples soluciones, desde cómo se reutilizan las aguas residuales en diversos sectores tales como el industrial, turístico, deportivo... hasta los Sistemas Urbanos de Drenaje Sostenible (#SUDS) diseñados por la marca.

For use in partly slatted farrowing pens, Master Trading offers cast iron flooring made of spheroidal iron with 10 mm, 13 mm, and 16 mm slots.
Gratings of spheroidal iron have better “micro“-roughness than plastic gratings. The advantage is a better stand of the sow without minor comfort.
There is a particular type of gratings with anti-slip dents. The advantage is an optimal sure-footed surface.

Our very own wildlife enthusiast Terry Wilkinson (Specialist Design and Application Engineer) and his daughter Connie have been showing their support to the local toad community!
During this time of year amphibians such as toads start to make a move from hibernation. Unfortunately, this puts them in danger from cars, as they cross roads during hours of darkness. Volunteers like Terry and Connie volunteered their evening to spot toads in danger at hot spots and help them across the roads to get them safely to their breeding ponds.
When planning new developments, it’s crucial to consider the local wildlife as part of a biodiversity plan. ACO wildlife guidance systems can help toads and other wildlife migrate safely away from the road surface.
