World water day is held on the 22nd March every year and aims to increase awareness of the importance of water. This year’s theme is ‘Nature for Water’ which looks at solving the worlds water problems from solutions we find in nature. ACO’s System Chain ensures water is ecologically and efficiently reused.
COLLECT – Surface water is collected quickly and completely by the ACO drainage system, protecting people, buildings and vehicles from hazards caused by water.
CLEAN – Collected liquids are treated using processes that ensure they can be discharged back into the environment. This creates conditions for recycling and sustainable water reuse.
HOLD – Containers, barriers and valves ensure that liquids stay within the drainage system where they can be properly controlled for water conservation.
RELEASE – This part of the ACO system chain ensures the collected, cleaned and controlled water is suitable for reuse or release back into the environment.

ACO in Australia is proud to announce that it has acquired the assets of Pitlok Industries Pty Ltd. ACO has been selling cable and utility enclosures with plastic and polymer concrete pits for more than twenty years under the ACO Cablemate brand. The ACO PITLOK and ACO COVERCOM range has been fully tested and assessed by the national security service of Australia who appraises on behalf of The Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC). SCEC is a committee that selects security equipment to meet the physical security needs of the Australian Government and have endorsed the lids, plinths and pits for the ‘Protection of Classified Material’ to SL1 and SL2 respectively.

On Thursday 22th of February, ACO Industries in Přibyslav welcomed more than hundred guests, colleagues from our sister company ACO Tiefbau. At this event, they discussed their business plans for 2018. It was a pleasure to welcome the owner of ACO, Mr. Hans-Julius Ahlmann, who delivered an impressive opening speech.

Het is een drukke beursweek voor ACO, want behalve op de VSK in Utrecht zijn wij ook aanwezig op de Infrarelatiedagen in Hardenberg. Bezoek onze stand met daarin een indrukwekkende collectie aan afwateringsproducten op het gebied van Collect, Clean, Hold and Release voor de civiele sector.

Congratulations to Torben Olesen on his 15 years anniversary in the company!
Torben started his career at FUNKI in 2003 as a Project leader for the development of our FunkiNet feeding system. After only 4 months he became a Product Manager with a focus on product development.
In 2008, Torben got more responsibility within the sales area, and in 2012 he became Sales Director.
Today, Torben is known as Sales and Marketing Director at ACO FUNKI A/S and Chairman for Danish Pig Academy. We know Torben as a man with a creative mind and lots of drive - he is inspiring and always full of new ideas.
We look forward to continued successful cooperation with Torben for many years!
