For the indoor community pool, designers wanted an effective drainage system to reduce the amount of standing water from residual splashing to minimise slip hazards to residents. The grates were required to be the same slip resistance as the surrounding tiles.
Furthermore, an indoor pool environment can be harsh, therefore, designers specified a marine grade channel so pitting corrosion and tea staining could be avoided.

Se daba por segura la continuidad de Teresa Ribera al frente de la Transición Ecológica ya que es respetada dentro y fuera de España como auténtico referente ante la emergencia climática. La ministra entre sus prioridades para esta legislatura tendrá que tener en cuenta a la política de agua. Cuestiones como la elaboración de una nueva Ley reguladora del Ciclo Integral del Agua o el desarrollo del Plan DSEAR para afrontar las asignaturas pendientes de la calidad del agua no pueden esperar más en un país que presume de ser referencia mundial en la planificación y gestión de recursos hídricos.
