4 auf einen Streich – in unserem Roadoffice in Fulda trafen zufällig vier Kollegen mit dem Vornamen Mat(t)hias aufeinander. Aktuell befinden sich immer einige Kollegen in unserem Gemeinschaftsbüro am Bahnhof in Fulda oder arbeiten in umfunktionierten Meetingräumen, um so das Mitarbeiteraufkommen in den Büros möglichst niedrig zu halten.

ACO Pipe is een betrouwbaar, lichtgewicht, dunwandig Push-fit leidingsysteem uit RVS en eenvoudig te combineren met andere producten uit het ACO assortiment, zoals RVS putten, RVS goten, vlakdakafvoeren, olie- en vetafscheiders. Vooral de combinatie met ACO Stainless afwateringsgoten en -putten zorgt voor hygiënische en betrouwbare oplossingen die voldoen aan EHEDG en NSF. In voedselverwerkende fabrieken, professionele keukens, laboratoria en zorginstellingen kunnen knaagdieren zoals ratten een plaag zijn. Deze knaagdieren kunnen in kunststof knagen en door het gebouw binnen de leidingen bewegen. Roestvaststaal is een sterk materiaal, waar knaagdieren niet doorheen kunnen knagen om het systeem binnen te komen. Alleen al om deze reden is roestvrijstalen buis de hygiënische en logische keus. Feeling creative? ACO offers a service where your design can come to life with a customised ductile iron grate design: Freestyle.
Freestyle grates allow you to create your own drainage designs that integrate into the architecture and materials used in the building envelope. Freestyle grates allow you to emphasise different aspects of the building and compliment the paving and landscaping, all while keeping the ground free from surface water.
You may have already seen Freestyle grates bought to life in Australia at Pitt Street Mall in Sydney’s CBD, the University of Sydney and at the Market to Riverbank Link in Adelaide - pictured here with our SA State Sales Manager, Philip Edwards, and the grate designer Amy Joy Watson.
To develop a grate design, the projects designers came up with a concept drawing. Collaborating closely with ACO, we help to make sure the design can be manufactured and create strength calculations before the grates are produced at our foundry in Germany.

KWS Infra Zwolle heeft in opdracht van Provincie Flevoland
groot onderhoud gepleegd aan de Leemringweg tussen Marknesse en Kraggenburg. Bij dit onderhoud is rekening gehouden met de veiligheid voor mens én dier. Daarom zjin er deze ACO Pro #faunatunnels aangelegd (https://lnkd.in/eZEaNVt). Deze monolithische faunatunnels van polymeerbeton hebben een hoge buig- en treksterkte, waardoor er geen wapeningen nodig zijn in het beton. De amfibieën en reptielen die zich erin verplaatsen oriënteren zich namelijk op het aardmagnetisch veld, waardoor wapeningen en dus metaalachtige producten in faunatunnels beter vermeden kunnen worden. Hierdoor is polymeerbeton het best beschikbare product voor amfibitunnels. Bovendien is polymeerbeton een niet zuigend product, zodat kikkers en padden zonder uit te drogen de ecocorridor kunnen passeren. Benieuwd naar de mogelijkheden? Last week, Danish Pig Academy hosted another Marketing and Export Network event in cooperation with Claus Gunge E. Mortensen and Laila Dam from Food & Bio Cluster Denmark.
This time, the Marketing track focused on the importance of inbound marketing strategy. The Export track was dedicated to such relevant issues as Covid19 initiatives and ASF.

Our customer SDS farm (신덕산 농장) has chosen to invest in a farrowing system for loose sows. The farmer’s idea behind the concept is to make his pig farm eco-friendly and modern.
Establishing this farm is a big step towards an even more advanced pig industry in Korea. The farmer himself was deeply involved in the construction and design of the farm and aimed to create the most modern pig farm in the country.
The two-level farm is for 450 sows, and for this project we delivered Welsafe farrowing pens for loose sows, Jumb-o-Fine mating crates, and FunkiFlex penning equipment for weaners along with Flexcover.
