El presidente de Chile, Sebastián Piñera presentó un plan especial para enfrentar la intensa crisis hídrica que asola el país desde hace 13 años. Un “terremoto silencioso” provocado por un déficit del 80% de lluvias y del 85% de nieves que ha lleva a las cuencas chilenas y los embalses a sufrir mínimos históricos, lamentó el mandatario.
Y el causante de la situación está claro: el cambio climático derivado del calentamiento global.
Piñera reconoció que “todas estas medidas no van a ser suficientes si no contamos en esta tarea con la ayuda de todos los chilenos“. El presidente hizo un llamamiento a la población a “tomar plena conciencia de la grave situación que atravesamos. Todos tenemos que cuidar del agua como si fuera un tesoro. Es el recurso que más necesitamos y que cada día es más escaso. Todos tenemos que ser parte de la solución”, concluyó.

Según Kim Cobb, científico de las Naciones Unidas, el futuro del planeta Tierra es sentir los impactos del cambio climático.
“No sabemos qué vendrá después, pero va a ser malo. Estamos entrando en territorio inexplorado con el cambio climático. El clima en el que vivimos no será el clima en el que vivamos ahora o en las próximas décadas. Lo peor está por venir, afectando la vida de nuestros hijos y nietos mucho más que la nuestra ”, dijo a Yahoo.
Pensar en soluciones y acciones que minimicen los impactos es fundamental para el futuro de la humanidad y la preservación natural.

Obra de referencia Patio Taller Buses Eléctricos Fontibón.
Desde hace cuatro años, la administración de la Alcaldía de Bogotá inició un proceso de cambio de buses de transmilenio que utilizan disel o combustible fósil, a nuevos buses de consumo de energía eléctrica. Esto con el fin de reducir la huella de carbono que aporta el sistema masivo de transporte de la ciudad.
A principios del año 2020, gracias a la experiencia probada en obras puntuales donde previamente se han utilizado todos los productos de la cadena ACO (Drenaje, limpieza, sostenimiento y liberación) el departamento de ingeniería de ACO Colombia fue contactado para aportar sus conocimientos y especificaciones para el diseño y construcción de los patio talleres de buses eléctricos de Enel.
Para ACO Colombia este proyecto es el primero de infraestructura de movilidad donde utilizan no solo los productos ACO, sino también los conocimientos de ingeniería para optimizar otros costos del proyecto. Este tipo de obras son una realidad en Colombia situando el pais como uno de los mas avanzado en la regón, en lo que respecta a práticas constructivas. Debemos ser concientes que el agua es un recurso cada vez más escaso y debe ser protegido y tratado con los mas altos estándares de construcción.

Sometimes simple solution can resolve most of the issues cheaper than expected.
„Filtration trolley“ has been developed together with #supermarket chain owner as a primary treatment of wastewater from kitchen. The less solid particles you dispose into drains the less energy and chemistry will be needed to recycle the water. Brilliant!

Hiermee gaf hij aan dat de eerste ExoDrain lijngoten geplaatst zijn op het Mercuriusplein in Berlicum (Gemeente Sint-Michielsgestel). Deze lijngoten krijgen binnenkort maatwerk cortenstalen roosters met de Beer van Balkum. De beren in deze roosters verwijzen naar de vlag en het wapen van Berlicum, die ook een beer bevatten. #Regenwasser muss auf #Flughäfen sorgfältig organisiert werden. Große Versiegelungsflächen führen zu großen Wassermengen, die häufig zwischengespeichert werden müssen. Bei der Entsorgung von #Regenwasser müssen Schadstoffe im Oberflächenwasser effektiv entfernt und sicher zurückgehalten werden. Hierbei spielen Kerosin und Enteisungsmittel eine bedeutende Rolle.

Vier Brüder in einem Betrieb, der nicht von den Eltern geführt wird - wo gibt es das neuerdings noch?
Bei ACO Guss geht langsam eine solche Ära zu Ende. 1970 trat Michael Heib (65) in die Fußstapfen seines Vaters Alois Heib und machte eine Ausbildung als Facharbeiter bei ACO Guss (ehemals AWK). Seine Brüder Gunter (63), Matthias (60) und Gerhard (58) folgten ihm nach. Sogar der fünfte Bruder Anton war während seines Studiums als Praktikant bei ACO Guss tätig. Nach stolzen 50 Jahren Betriebszugehörigkeit wurde Michael im Sommer 2020 in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand verabschiedet.
