En los hogares, estudios muestran que entre un 40% y 50% del consumo de agua no necesitaría realizarse con agua potable, es decir, con agua apta para el consumo humano. Esto incluye el agua utilizada en el riego, la limpieza, el lavado de la ropa, o en sanitarios – alrededor del 40%. Por supuesto, esto no significa que sea agua sucia o contaminada. El agua de la lluvia, por ejemplo, puede aprovecharse para tales usos. Es una alternativa barata y ambientalmente responsable, que, cada vez más, debe ser alentada por los gobiernos.

Trata-se de é uma alternativa socioambientalmente responsável e barata e que, cada vez mais, deveria ser incentivada pelos governos.

El municipio de Leticia es la capital del departamento del Amazonas Colombiano.
Con el objetivo principal de construir el aeropuerto haciendo el menor daño posible al medio ambiente, y debido al desafío de la lejanía a zonas de producción de materiales de construcción, se decidió utilizar la mayor cantidad de productos prefabricados. Por esta razón, en este proyecto se utilizaron los canales ACO S300, clase F900 y ACO KerbDrain 305 para el drenaje eficiente de la plataforma y las vías de acceso del aeropuerto.
En nombre de ACO Colombia estamos orgullosos de haber participado en este trabajo. Podemos decir que, a pesar de la
lejanía y los desafíos logísticos, ACO está presente en el principal ecosistema natural del planeta.

Sadly, our industry lost a bright young talent on 27th August when the life of beautiful Maddie Hollamby was tragically cut short in such devastating circumstances.
Maddie was advancing her marketing career in our industry and had just been appointed Project Director of Visibility on the Travis Perkins Youth Board. A key member of the marketing team at Keyline Civils, Maddie was respected, well liked, and had her whole future ahead of her.
Today, as an industry, we are all coming together to share Maddie’s story to raise awareness for a fund that’s been set up in her memory through The Construction Youth Trust. Their work helps inspire young people to join the construction sector and our aim is to help them raise as much money as possible to continue to enable more school leavers and young people to join the industry, like Maddie did.
