The emerging African country is well-known for its cocoa agriculture and trading. #Cocoa farming is mostly carried out by small farmers and is one important part of the economy. The majority of cocoa beans grown and harvested in Ghana are shipped through the port of Tema. The #harbour is the economical heart of the country and leading container hub for trade and industry in West Africa by handling about 80% of the countries imports and exports.
ACO supports efficient operations at the Port of Tema with our #innovative drainage solutions. On large areas such as ports, #stormwater can quickly lead to very high flow rates of several hundred liters of water per second, especially during wet season. Our ACO DRAIN® Qmax 900 was installed along the 1.400m quay of the port to handle the #heavy #rainfall during Ghana’s rainy season, which requires a sufficient hydraulic buffer capacity. In this way, ACO assists the uninterrupted operation of the port of Tema in Ghana, and therefore, encourages the #local #economy and the distribution of cocoa beans and other goods to the rest of the world 🌍

Polskie Stowarzyszenie Budownictwa Ekologicznego jest częścią globalnej Green Building Council (GBC), organizacji, której celem jest kształtowanie miejsc, w których żyjemy, pracujemy i uczymy się. W naszym kraju działa od 2008 roku. Realizuje misję radykalnej poprawy projektowania, budowania i użytkowania budynków w Polsce tak, aby zrównoważone budownictwo stało się normą.

🎶 Ô abre alas que o ACO Monoblock vai passar 🎉
Nesse ano não teve samba na avenida, mas mesmo assim ele estava lá, intacto, mais de 1 década depois.
O ACO Monoblock, canal de drenagem superficial, foi instalado ao redor do sambódromo do Anhembi em 2011. De lá pra cá, o sistema é responsável pelo escoamento de água superficial em dias chuvosos.
O canal suporta cargas pesadas até F900, além de apresentar alta resistência e performance mesmo depois de tanto tempo. O concreto polímero tem alta durabilidade, permite uma drenagem eficiente e segura para o tráfego local.

In certain application, its critical that grates are not only pedestrian safe but comply to the Australian Standard.
In 2021, AS 1428.1 Design for access and mobility, Part 1: General requirements for access – New building work , was revised and released with some changes to the requirements for grates (and Brickslot) in regards to compliance for wheelchair and walking cane safety. 👨🏻🦽👩🦯👨🏽🦯👩🏻🦼
