What a great day we had last week at the Annual Meeting 2025! 🤝
This year, we gathered at Agro Food Park in Aarhus for a day full of knowledge sharing, networking, and inspiration. 💡
We hold these meetings to strengthen our collaboration, exchange knowledge, and continuously improve – all with one goal in mind: to provide even more solutions and inspiration for the many international visitors we welcome each year. 👋 🐖

🌧️💡 Tailor-made siphonic drainage – integrated into Hamburg’s newest landmark!
At the Westfield Hamburg Überseequartier, an impressive metal and glass roof creates a striking architectural centerpiece. However, integrating drainage into the 34 supporting columns posed a unique challenge – one that ACO Haustechnik solved with a customized special solution.
🔹 Location: Hamburg, Überseequartier
🔹 Project: Westfield Hamburg – Mixed-use urban quarter
🔹 Challenge: Limited space within columns, no room for standard components
🔹 Solution: Special stainless steel jet outlets for primary and emergency drainage
🔹 System: Main drainage + emergency drainage 55 mm above primary level
In close collaboration with the structural design team, ACO’s application engineers developed a siphonic drainage system specifically tailored to the roof’s geometry. By combining a primary system with an elevated emergency overflow, the solution ensures reliable drainage even during heavy rainfall. A detailed surface and flow rate analysis enabled precise dimensioning and optimal component adaptation – efficient, compact, and highly effective.
This project demonstrates ACO’s role as a trusted partner in demanding architectural developments, delivering innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of sustainability, design, and performance. A powerful example of forward-thinking urban construction in Hamburg.

Bavisela Family Run je tradicionalna sportska manifestacija u Trstu posvećena svim trkačima amaterima i obiteljima koji žele doživjeti iskustvo čistog sporta i zabave.

Ayer se celebró en el Espacio Arquia de Madrid el nuevo evento de Arquitectura en Corto, centrado en el agua, del que ACO fue patrocinador.
Durante el evento se proyectó el vídeo ensayo "Fin de Temporada" de Leonor Martín Taibo y Aida Navarro Redón en el que reflexionan sobre el modelo económico actual en España y Portugal sobre el uso del agua y el ocio, recorriendo 41 parques acúaticos abandonados como punto de partida.
Desde ACO, seguimos apoyando la creación de espacios donde se fomente la reflexión y la propuesta de ideas y soluciones innovadoras y sostenibles para hacer frente a los retos hídricos actuales.

Ontem realizou-se o novo evento @arquitecturaencorto no Espacio Arquia em Madrid, centrado na água, do qual a ACO foi patrocinadora.
Durante o evento, foi projetado o vídeo-ensaio “Fin de Temporada” de Leonor Martín Taibo e Aida Navarro Redón, no qual reflectem sobre o atual modelo económico em Espanha e Portugal sobre o uso da água e do lazer, percorrendo 41 parques aquáticos abandonados como ponto de partida.

💧 Już 8–9 maja spotkacie nas na wydarzeniu organizowanym przez Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, Wydział Inżynierii Środowiska i Energetyki oraz Urząd Miasta Krakowa, poświęconym temu, jak skutecznie zarządzać wodą w mieście.
🎤 Zapraszamy do wysłuchania wystąpienia Rafał Dudziak, który 8 maja o godz. 13.10 opowie o tym, jak #ACO kreatywnie rozwija i wdraża ideę Miasta Gąbki – koncepcji, według której zamiast szybko i bezpowrotnie odprowadzać wodę deszczową, odpowiednie systemy zatrzymują ją i wykorzystują lokalnie.
