“A day for the ACO history book: Hans-Julius Ahlmann receives the Global Economy Prize!
Last Sunday, in front of around 200 invited guests, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy awarded the Global Economy Prize for the 17th time. The theme of this year's prize was "Location Policy between State and Market". In addition to the laureate Dr. Dalia Grybauskaitė, former President of the Republic of Lithuania and former EU Commissioner for Financial Planning and Budget, for the #politics category and the laureate Prof. Ufuk Akcigit for the #science category, Hans-Julius Ahlmann, as managing director of the #ACOGroup, received the prize in the category of #economy.
"I am very happy about this award. It is my first ever business award," says Hans-Julius Ahlmann. "Today, we are on our way to becoming a true green tech company, developing products and smart system solutions in environmental technology."
The jury describes Hans-Julius Ahlmann as an "outstanding #entrepreneurial personality and a committed #philanthropist. Through his foresight and entrepreneurial skills, he made the ACO Group a #GlobalPlayer and the #WorldMarketLeader in #DrainageTechnology".

🔹 Essenzialità delle forme, semplicità compositiva, razionalità degli spazi. Sono solo alcuni dei presupposti alla base di un approccio progettuale orientato al #minimalismo o di prassi architettoniche e urbanistiche adeguate al futuro e in grado di riflettere un modo di vivere consapevole e intenzionale.

🔹In questi contesti progettuali e di pianificazione urbanistica, anche i sistemi di drenaggio devono essere in grado di riflettere l’idea tanto cara all’architetto Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, secondo il quale “less is more”. Essi devono cioè puntare all’essenziale, eliminare il superfluo, senza rinunciare alla funzionalità e senza perdere di efficacia idraulica.

🔶 Via Cornigliano, a Genova, è stata protagonista, negli ultimi due anni, di un importante progetto di riqualificazione, che ha trasformato il volto dell’intero quartiere e ne ha aumentato la vivibilità per gli abitanti.
🔶 Sull’arteria, lunga circa 800 metri, sono stati creati nuovi spazi verdi, è stata realizzata una pista ciclabile per tutta la sua lunghezza, installato un nuovo arredo urbano e previsto un nuovo sistema di illuminazione.
🔶Particolarmente importante è stato anche il rifacimento del sistema di raccolta e smaltimento delle acque piovane, dove la preferenza della committenza è andata verso i sistemi di drenaggio ACO e in particolare sui canali in calcestruzzo polimerico Multiline V200 e Multiline V150 con griglia in ghisa. I primi sono stati installati lungo tutta la carreggiata della via; i canali Multiline V100, invece, in prossimità delle fermate degli autobus.
🔶Il sistema Multiline offre numerosi vantaggi in termini di prestazioni idrauliche e risulta molto versatile grazie alla disponibilità di cinque classi di carico, sei larghezze nominali, tre versioni di telaio.

Vieze schoenen geen probleem voor school ~ in Malden is een jaar geleden het nieuwe groen-blauwe schoolplein van basisschool de Vuurvogel https://bit.ly/3uVIPVE aangelegd. Zo zijn er hoogteverschillen, slingerende paden, speelgelegenheden, zitgelegenheden en veel natuur terug te vinden! Al dat groen zorgt ook voor heel veel vieze kinderschoenen. Daarom zijn voor de ingang van de school 16 ACO Schoonlopers https://bit.ly/3aKEbD7 geplaatst. Een schoonloper bestaat uit een vuilopvangbak uit polymeerbeton die vlak in het straatwerk is ingebouwd. Via de uitneembare deurmat wordt zand en water opgevangen in de vuilopvangbak. Zo blijft de school zonder veel moeite netjes. Ook geen zin in hoge schoonmaakkosten en snel slijtende vloerbedekking? #askACO #schoolplein #watermanagement #groenblauw

De lucht in ~ nadat de afgelopen weken hard gewerkt is aan de fundering, begint de nieuwbouw van het ACO kantoor in Doetinchem steeds meer vorm te krijgen. Deze week is Tiggelovend-Kok bv bezig om de staalconstructie te plaatsen. Nog even en de basis staat! #nieuwbouw #expansion #ACO

Een moeilijke naam voor een meetkundige structuur die vaak in de natuur voorkomt, zoals de vlekken van een giraffe, de vleugels van een libel of het patroon van gebarsten aarde.
