The ACO Southeast Asia sales teams came together for a dynamic 2-day Consultative Sales Training, led by Martina Obornikova and Frad Ehtesham. Hosted at ACO Vietnam’s newly renovated office, the sessions fostered an inspiring environment for learning, collaboration, and growth. 🤝👩🏻🏫👨🏻🏫
Throughout the training, the team focused on developing consultative selling skills through practical exercises, open discussions, workshops and shared experiences. It was also a great chance for colleagues from different countries to connect and strengthen regional teamwork. 🇻🇳🇲🇾🇸🇬🇮🇩📚

Včeraj je na Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije potekala strokovna nacionalna konferenca »Zelena preobrazba mestnih streh«, posvečena inovacijam in najnovejšim trendom na področju trajnostnega načrtovanja zelenih streh.
Konferenca je bila izvedena v okviru evropskega projekta 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐅𝐒 – Green Roof Technician Training Program (2022-1-PL01-KA220-HED-000086828), katerega cilj je razvoj novega poklicnega profila tehnika za zelene strehe ter vzpostavitev sodobnega izobraževalnega programa za podporo trajnostni prenovi mest.
Darja Rup je v okviru sklopa »Praktični primeri in razprava« predstavila odvodnjavanje zelenih streh in izzive, ki se pri tem pojavljajo.
Hvala Valentina Kuzma in vsem ostalim za odlično izpeljan dogodek in priložnost za izmenjavo strokovnih izkušenj ter prispevek k bolj zeleni in odporni urbani prihodnosti.

Ever wondered where your city’s drinking water comes from?
Often, it’s sourced from nearby rivers, lakes, or reservoirs. But here’s the catch: those same water bodies also receive stormwater runoff from our streets.
As rainwater flows over roads, parking lots, and industrial areas, it picks up harmful pollutants—engine oils, brake dust, microplastics, and chemical residues. In 2017 Rushden lakes first opened to the public. Spanning over 400,000 sq ft and bordering protected wetlands, the site integrates advanced sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), including our 𝗔𝗖𝗢 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘅𝘅 𝗛𝗗 as tree pits and 𝗤𝗺𝗮𝘅 slot drainage, to manage stormwater efficiently while protecting vital ecosystems.
Now in 2025, beavers were reintroduced to the Nene Wetlands for the first time in over 400 years, a milestone for UK conservation. Our drainage solutions helped reduce pollution risk, ensuring a clean, safe habitat for the returning beaver population and enhancing the area’s biodiversity.
