Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) i Organizacija Ujedinjenih naroda za hranu i poljoprivredu (FAO) već sedmu godinu za redom svakog 𝟬𝟳. 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗻𝗷𝗮 obilježavaju „𝗦𝘃𝗷𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗸𝗶 𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶 𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲“.
Cilj ovogodišnje teme „Znanost u akciji“ je isticanje vitalne uloge znanosti u osiguravanju hrane koju jedemo. I slažemo se, znanost ima ključnu ulogu!

ACO was proud to sponsor and present the ‘Above & Beyond Award’ at this year’s Future Water Awards Ceremony, held at the prestigious Canadian High Commission in London.
For over 30 years, the Future Water Association has served as a not-for-profit voice for the water sector connecting policymakers, regulators, utility companies, and environmental organisations to help shape a resilient and sustainable water future.
The event celebrated individuals and teams whose work is transforming the UK water sector and beyond.
ACO’s Technical Director, David Smoker, had the honour of presenting the Above & Beyond Award to Prince Akeem Adenuga, a standout winner whose dedication exemplifies true leadership in water sustainability. In addition to his role at Hydrosave, Prince Akeem Adenuga founded the Merry-Gold Water Charity, which provides modern, community-led water solutions in underserved regions of Lagos State, Nigeria.
By installing low-cost borehole systems and reservoirs, the charity directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) improving daily life for vulnerable communities and ensuring lasting access to safe water.
At ACO, we're committed to supporting those who innovate, advocate, and go the extra mile for a water-secure world. Congratulations to all the award recipients, and thank you to Future Water for championing this vital cause.

Recientemente hemos impartido una formación en el GremiBCN (Asociación de Empresas Instaladoras de Barcelona) sobre reciclaje de aguas grises y de lluvia, en respuesta a la nueva ordenanza municipal que busca reducir el consumo de agua potable en edificios residenciales hasta un 30% mediante sistemas de reutilización.

Check out the latest article on New Civil Engineer, highlighting the Silvertown Tunnel project and ACO’s role in designing a bespoke kerb and drainage system. The solution was engineered to manage large volumes of water from firefighting sprinklers while also preventing the spread of fire through the drainage network.
